Let's Party
Cecillia Ruiz
We’ve Heard Good Things about you!
Let’s Party’s owners Cecilia and Jose Ruiz spend most Saturday mornings blowing up balloons. Hundreds of them…because it’s Saturdays when most parties take place and since Cecilia and Jose’s business is aptly named—they are in for the long haul, or breath, as the case may be. When they are not using their lungs for blowing up balloons or decorating for weddings and quencerias they like to watch their daughter play volleyball on Saturdays.
Cecilia is the face of the business; the one you see when you go to purchase party supplies. She came to Winnemucca when she was four years old from La Mesa, Durango, Mexico. Her father worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and brought his family once he was settled. She attended school, married, raised a family and is now a small business owner in the community she loves, where everyone knows everyone else and is willing to help each other out. Her heart is firmly planted in Winnemucca and its people.
Cecilia is hoping to be able to serve the community for a long time to come, but says the most challenging factor of being a small business owner is the internet. The internet is certainly a challenge for most small business—ordering on-line is easy, but do yourself a favor and visit Let’s Party in person—just walk in and see what they have to offer and we feel confident that you’ll fall in love with this great local party supply store and be back for all your celebration needs.
